P&O Cruises' 2010 - 2012 cruising brochure is now available and features the Pacific Pearl – the first superliner to be based out of New Zealand.
Pacific Pearl will be officially launched in New Zealand with an official naming ceremony on December 21 before departing for her maiden voyage to the South Pacific the following day.
The brochure features fantastic holiday deals on Pacific Pearl cruises out of Auckland, as well as the P&O Cruises Australian program which has sailings around Australia, to the South Pacific and Asia.
With Pacific Pearl based out of Auckland as of December 2010 there will be a large increase in the number of sailings departing from New Zealand to the South Pacific with summer, autumn and winter season departures. Cruises have increased from 11 to 15, a move to meet New Zealanders growing demand for cruising. The 2011/12 season has also already been confirmed.
P&O Cruises New Zealand Manager Shannon Currie says "Cruising from home holidays are fantastic value and very convenient. Passengers can start their holiday as soon as they get on board the ship, without having to worry about airports, transfers and hotels."
A new addition to the ex-Auckland program is the three night Food and Wine Cruises – a popular sailing option in Australia that is expected to be just as popular with New Zealanders.
Bookings made before 31 August, Earlybird Sale, with savings up 60% off the full brochure fare.
