Please refer to your cruise tickets for your boarding location and CruiseLinktime. All passengers must be on board 1 hour prior to sailing.

CruiseLink offers convenient transport to and from the ship on your day of embarkation and disembarkation. Our coach transfers are available from New Zealand regional areas, making boarding your ship even easier!

Hand bomber
A ship using coal-fired boilers shoveled in by hand.
Starboard
The right hand side of the ship when looking forward
Beating to windward
Making progress against the direction of the wind, by steering alternately close-hauled on the starboard and larboard tacks.
Gunnel
The large plank that runs along the upper part of a ship's side.
Hoy
A particular kind of vessel.
Water line
The line made by the water's edge when a ship has her full proportion of stores on board.
Fresh away
When your ship increases its velocity.
