The tour begins with a visit to Senggigi Beach, Here you can shop at the Senggigi Art Market for traditional ikat blankets, wood carvings and the obligatory souvenir T shirt. You will also enjoy tea, coffee and traditional rice cakes and seasonal fruits in this casual beachside setting. Your next stop will be at the Teluk Village, one of the few villages on the island that retains its traditional culture and architecture. Here you will be treated to a traditional Lombok stick fighting performance before heading to the highlight of the day, Sendang Gila Waterfall, Mount Rinjani national park’s best known attraction. Sitting at around 600m above sea level, the waterfall is an easy 20 minute walk down a graded trail and steps from Senaru Village, which is the main access to Mt. Rinjani National Park. After the walk, a sumptuous buffet lunch will be served at a local restaurant overlooking a stunning river gorge with the waterfall as the backdrop. As you head back to the port you will drive through the Pusuk Pass, a winding mountain road that provides wonderful views of valleys and gorges, with rivers running through the tropical forests and small villages dotted amongst the trees. Families of grey monkeys live in the jungle and come down to the road to beg for food from passing motorists. A stop will be made to see these fascinating creatures and to take advantage of the beautiful photo opportunity.
