In fact, there's so much to do in one day that we publish a daily newsletter just to fill you in. Our experienced Youth Staff love organising the most awesome activities. And they take fun seriously, which means our staff are qualified to look after your children, in a safe and secure environment.

Fun for all ages 

TC and Skipper

Our two lovable characters, TC and Skipper, star in their very own Junior Cruises Show which is suitable for the whole family to enjoy. All shows are held in the Turtle Cove and Shark Shack Children's Centre. 

Travelling With Infants

An infant travelling with two adults paying the standard twin fare will be charged at the applicable upper child fare. 

An infant travelling as a passenger in a twin cabin with one adult will be charged the full adult rate.

Kid's Clubs 

The Kid's Clubs Turtle Cove and Shark Shack are open from 9.00am to 10.00pm (hours may vary) for all children aged from 3 years to 10 years.

* Group child-minding from 10:30pm to 1am is at a nominal charge of $5 per child per hour. Due to limited facilities on board, we cannot guarantee your child's participation in the Kid's Clubs. While we will make every effort to accommodate all children, entry into the Kid's Clubs is on a first come first serve basis. Children must be toilet trained. Kid's Clubs vary from ship to ship and hours may differ.

Nautical Glossary

Abaft the beam
Further aft than the beam: a relative bearing of greater than 90 degrees from the bow: "two points abaft the port beam".
Abandon ship!
An imperative to leave the vessel immediately, usually in the face of some imminent danger.
Dayboard
The daytime identifier of an aid to navigation presenting one of several standard shapes (square, triangle, rectangle) and colors (red, green, white, orange, yellow, or black).
Astern
Any distance behind a ship, as opposed to A-Head.
Beating to windward
Making progress against the direction of the wind, by steering alternately close-hauled on the starboard and larboard tacks.
Dog-watch
The watches from four to six and six to eight in the evening.
Lee-side
The half of a ship, lengthwise, which lies between a line drawn through the middle of her length and the side, which is farthest from the point of wind.
Water line
The line made by the water's edge when a ship has her full proportion of stores on board.
Under the lee of the shore
Close to the shore, which lies to windward of the ship.
Fresh away
When your ship increases its velocity.
