“Eden on the River” is a privately owned estate of absolute untouched rain forest and stunning natural beauty, a place to truly appreciate the beauty and tranquility of our unique tropical landscape.
Departing the wharf you will travel along Vanuatu’s scenic South Coast to Eden on the River. Here you will be welcomed by the friendly staff and receive a personalised narrated tour of the beautiful tropical gardens before entering into the lush rainforest. Your guide will share their intimate knowledge of the diverse array of flora and fauna and share their personal experiences growing up in Vanuatu.
After a pleasant gradual walk down to Rentaboa River, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim or “tyre tube” in the serene river and cascading waterfalls. After your swim sit back and relax and take in the delightful sounds of the bush and the river while enjoying a freshly squeezed local lime juice and a tropical fruit platter which will showcase some of the exotic tropical fruits organically grown on the property.
You will have some spare time, please feel free to wander around the exotic gardens and enjoy the peacefulness.

Ensure you are wearing your swim ware and bring a towel with you if you intend to go swimming in the waterfall and river.
