Your valued contributions to the P&O Pacific Partnership continue to make a difference to our friends in the South Pacific. In Vanuatu, we've been able to commit $21,000 to the Giving Hands Vanuatu fundraising campaign which has helped to repair a leaking corridor roof adjoining Vila Central Hospital's maternity unit and children's ward.
This area has suffered flooding in recent years and had been in dire need of attention, with its restoration helping to ensure newborns get the best possible start in life, in the best possible environment.
New mothers like Maximiliene Bihu Taviri and baby Ashton who was born earlier this year, are just one family of many who have already benefitted from the restoration works, all thanks to support from you, Cruiselings.
We look forward to when P&O can visit Vanuatu again and we sincerely thank you for your unrivalled community support and kindness for the people that live there.
The Sydney Comedy Festival kicked off on April 19 and will entertain Sydneysiders for the next month with performances from 150 of the finest Australian comedians and international stars.

Have you ever had a 400 Gradi pizza at sea?
Today we are celebrating all-things pizza with our friends from 400 Gradi. Whether it's their award winning Margherita Verace pizza, which was named the World's Best Pizza in 2014 at the Pizza World Championship in Parma, Italy or their classic Australiana pizza, these guys know their stuff! We just love 400 Gradi pizza!
Cruiselings have been loving 400 Gradi on Pacific Explorer since 2017. We’re super excited that 400 Gradi will also be starring on Pacific Adventure™ and Pacific Encounter as well as Gradi Pronto, for when you just want takeaway.
Enjoy this step back in time, when we interviewed the 400 Gradi founder and chef, Johnny Di Francesco.More P&O Dining

Meet Mike Mihajlov, our Destinations Director. At P&O, we call him ‘Mr Destinations’. When you go cruising, you can bet that Mike or a member of his team has been there before you. They play an enormous part in developing P&O cruise itineraries and devising shore tour programs in collaboration with local Australian and New Zealand operators plus our friends in South Pacific communities.
Our photos show Mike at the Alotau Festival which is put on by the locals each time a ship visits and in the beautiful Trobriand Islands, located just off the east coast of Papua New Guinea.
And what is Mike’s favourite P&O destination? “For favourites, it’s a hard one but I’d have to say the top three would be Moreton Island, Mystery Island and Conflict Islands. Why? Because each is spectacularly beautiful and in each case P&O has a special relationship with the community there which makes the whole experience unique.”
We could talk to Mike forever so we're bringing him back in 2021 to talk about amazing shore tours for families, thrill seekers, sightseers and more. Watch this space.
If you’re up for some extra adventure, join the adrenaline junkies at P&O Edge Adventure Park.
