Experience the scenic beauty and wildlife of Southern Australia during this half-day tour of the Potoroo Palace and Merimbula Wharf Aquarium. Depart the pier for the drive to Potoroo Palace. Tucked away in a pristine peaceful bushland setting, Potoroo Palace provides a sanctuary, recovery program and captive breeding environment for endangered and threatened native animals, including long=nosed potoroos, swamp wallabies, Eastern grey kangaroos, wombats, emus, koalas and dingoes. In addition to improving the habitats and well-being of indigenous animals, Potoroo Palace promotes public awareness to their cause and educates the community about the importance of conserving Australia's unique flora, fauna and wildlife. Next,you will continue on to Merimbula, which began in the 1850s as a private village and developed as a port and service centre for the surrounding rural area. Since the 1950s Merimbula has also served as a popular holiday resort. Upon arrival, you will proceed to the Merimbula Wharf Aquarium for an informative guided tour. From sharks to shrimps, octopuses to tropical fish, it is all on display in this living theatre of 27 fish tanks and an ocean tank. Following your visit you will rejoin your coach for the return drive to the pier.

Depart Eden and drive through Pambula and Merimbula to the Mimosa Rocks National Park. This 17 kilometer stretch of coastline will set the scene for a delightful morning tea before embarking on an easy walk. Head by foot to Penders and Bithryn Inlet, a fascinating site deeply embedded with local history. On the way, stopping at the Barn, Geodesic Dome and "The Bum Seat" for some brilliant photo opportunities. Arriving back at the coach, take a scenic drive along to the coastal village of Tathra, set against a backdrop of the white-sanded Tathra Beach. The town is dotted with small boutique shops and beautiful views around every corner. Joined by a National Parks Ranger, begin an exhilarating, circular 1.5 kilometer walk to the Pinnacles - a magnificent sandstone rock formation.
