Departing from the pier, travel to Coffin Bay and enjoy an informative commentary from your local guide en route to the Oyster Sheds. On this particular weekend crowds flock to Coffin Bay to celebrate Easter with the town swelling from 600 people to 3000! There is also a great local market that features many home made crafts, boutique foods and other home made products.
Arrive at the Oyster Sheds for a 45-minute interpretive tour showcasing the oyster industry. The highlight of the tour is the fresh oyster tasting—that are harvested fresh each morning.
Jump back on board the coach and travel through the town of Coffin Bay and into the Coffin Bay National Park. The National Park is a dynamic and diverse landscape with exposed surf beaches and sheltered seas, an abundance of wildlife and native flora. Visit a scenic lookout or stroll down the wooden boardwalk to appreciate the spectacular views. From a cliff top, you can see the pristine beaches that make this region such a popular place for its unspoilt beauty. The beaches and natural parks are often filled with migratory sea birds seeking shelter. View the gorgeous coastline before boarding the coach and travelling back to the pier.
