Rugged Coastal Discover

Rugged coastline, stunning lookouts and unspoilt beaches are a must see feature of the Eyre Peninsula. Travel by coach with a friendly guide and discover some of the best look out spots, beaches with roaring surf, rugged coastal cliffs and great photo opportunities. Head to Winters Hill lookout for stunning views over Port Lincoln and to the local Marina precinct, Australia's busiest commercial fishing port. Travel to Fishery Bay Lookout, a vantage point which reveals the wide beaches and rolling seas below. Not far from the Fishery Bay is Cape Wiles. Sheer cliffs at Cape Wiles lookout offer a great photo opportunity and you may be lucky enough to spy a colony of New Zealand fur seals playing near the rocks. Next, head to Cape Carnot, the high winds create spectacular scenes of ocean spray against the rocks and are bound to impress. Theakstone's Crevasse, a fault fracture which occurred millions of years ago is another stop where you can witness the sheer beauty of this unspoilt rugged region. Pause for a photo stop to take in the amazing coastline before heading back to the pier.
