Enjoy scenic cruising in the stunning Whitsunday Passage, home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The waterway carves through the middle of the Whitsunday Islands in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and was named by explorer Captain James Cook in 1770, and discovered on Whitsun, a Sunday feast day held seven weeks after Easter.
There are 74 islands within Whitsunday Passage, and most are uninhabited or are protected by a vast system of national parks.
