Eco Zip Adventure

Depart Auckland by ferry and take in the stunning sights of Waitemata Harbour. On arrival at Waiheke ferry terminal you'll enjoy a mini-tour of the island’s wonderful beaches, multi-million dollar properties and myriad boutique wineries en route to the EcoZip Sight, situated high on a hillside and providing commanding views of Auckland, Rangitoto and the Hauraki Gulf. Now it’s time to check-in, gear-up, and get ready for one of New Zealand’s most exciting eco-activities. Three dual ziplines, each over 200 metres long, you will fly smoothly and safely side-by-side with a partner or friend over the working vineyard and then over, and into, a stunning tract of original and regenerating native New Zealand bush (forest). Throughout you'll be accompanied by expert guides - who are dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment and safety. At the end of the 3rd zipline you'll experience a spectacular interpretive walk back to the visitor-centre, shaded by a canopy of both regenerating and pre-European forest. Along the way our guides will share the stories of our local flora and fauna, the history of Waiheke, both Maori and European and explain how EcoZip is helping to both restore and preserve this Site of Environmental Significance.
