Your cruise of Otago Harbour, Taiaroa Head, and its wildlife includes a visit to the breeding areas of one of the world’s largest seabirds, the Northern Royal Albatross. You will cruise part of Otago Harbour viewing stunning scenery and listening to informative commentary about the geology and history of the area. At Tairoa Head, you will get up close to the only mainland colony of the Northern Royal Albatross with its impressive three metre wingspan. You’ll also witness a breeding colony of New Zealand fur seals and view up to twenty other species of marine birds.

Morning or afternoon tea will be served onboard the vessel during the cruise.
Dress appropriately; wear low-heeled, rubber-soled shoes and warm clothing. Limited binoculars are provided on a share basis; bring along your own binoculars to enhance your views. There is a walk of approximately 200 metres to reach your tour vessel; several steps lead into the boat and as a result this tour is not suitable for passengers completely confined to a wheelchair.
