Cruise to Plantation Island, a holiday paradise complete with three miles of white sand beaches, sheltered swimming lagoons and acres of tropical gardens just begging to be explored. Board a catamaran for a 45-minute scenic cruise to Plantation Island. A warm Fijian welcome on arrival is waiting. Spend your day relaxing on the beach or enjoy one of the resorts many activities including a Fijian cooking lesson, island tour, coconut leaf basket weaving or coconut husking demonstration. Resort facilities include three freshwater swimming pools, restaurants, mini-marts, child minding and spa services. Special Notes: Kids Activities - Children will be granted access to the Coconut Kids Club, a supervised activities program for children aged 4 – 12 yrs. Children under 4 yrs may participate with a parent, or child minding can be arranged for F$8.00 per hour (paid to resort). The Kids Club program includes the following activities; Coconut Carnival, T-Shirt Painting, Treasure Hunt, Beach games, Indoor/Outdoor Play Centre. Complimentary activities include: kayaking, wind surfing, mini-putt putt and volleyball. Please be advised that additional activities may be offered once at Plantation Island. Enjoy a spell-binding cultural show including a traditional Fijian Meke performance and kava ceremony. The Meke tells stories of love, legend and history through the art of song and dance and finishes with Fiji’s most famous love and farewell song, Isa Lei. Try not to flinch as Fiji’s famed firewalkers skip across white hot coals. There is no valid explanation why members of the Sawau tribe, who live on the southern side of Beqa Island, have this unique skill. Morning or afternoon tea is included in the tour.
