Eucalyptus forests and indigenous flora contrast with the predominantly red soil and deep green hues of the river. Meet your guide beside the cool, pristine, flowing river for a short introduction to the art of kayaking. Once on the water, the tranquillity of the river setting is only disrupted by the swish of paddles on a journey through one of New Caledonia’s prettiest valleys. Time is allowed for a swim before turning back downstream.
To protect your camera from sand and sea, consider purchasing a waterproof disposable camera from your ship's Essentials or Photo, Video and Tech Store. Otherwise, pack your camera in a waterproof bag.
