Travel by coach with an informative guide and take in the local lifestyle. There’s spectacular views of sheltered yacht marinas, picturesque beaches and bays at FOL Lookout. Next stop is the state-of-the-art aquarium where everything is natural; saltwater, sunlight and a multitude of fish. Discover a local lagoon and the brilliance of a coral reef and its inhabitants: angel fish, napoleons, gorgonia, striped fish, fluorescent corals and a live prehistoric nautilus, the only cephalopod to have a true external shell. The spirally coiled, chambered shell is perfectly proportioned and has fascinated naturalists, mathematicians and physicists for years.
Breathtaking ocean views can be appreciated from the FOL & Ouen-Toro Viewpoint. Please note however that there is no Flash Photography allowed inside the Aquarium.
