Enjoy a truly educational boat trip through the stunning turquoise waterways of the Vava’u Island Group. Join naturalist guides aboard the custom-designed 8.5m vessel MV Tropic Bird and observe humpback whales and newborn calves basking within their natural environment. During the day, there is the opportunity to snorkel the crystal clear waters and take part in the spectacular underwater world that surrounds.

Whilst it is still permitted to swim with Humpback whales within the Kingdom of Tonga, this tour offers an alternative for those that would like to experience a whale encounter from a safe distance.
'Whale season' officially occurs between July and October each year. Every effort will be made however, Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
A minimum age of 16 years applies.
