You’ll be collected from the wharf and your skipper will select the best location (tide dependant). Your 25mt island ‘banana boats’ are suitable for close inshore light game fishing and do not travel any further than approximately 3km from nearest landfall. All staff are Ni Vanuatu and qualified by Vanuatu legislation for small vessel operations and speak fluent English. Listen to insightful commentary on Santo and the local lifestyle. All fishing equipment, lifejackets etc. is provided.
The picturesque Segond Channel between Luganville and Tutuba Island provides ample scenic photo opportunities, as well as the big one that you may encounter.
All trips include light refreshments such as bottled water, island fruits, nuts and biscuits.
Please remember, you have purchased the opportunity to fish, not a guarantee of catching fish. Fishing for trophy fish is "catch and release".
We are not able to store your catch onboard; any non-trophy fish will be kept by the fishing boat crew.
To make your day as enjoyable as possible, please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and SPF30+ or higher factor sunscreen, and bring bottled water.
During the trip to the fishing grounds you will be able to view the ship alongside Luganville Wharf as well as deserted white beaches and small islands clothed in dense jungle, stretching along Segond Channel.
There are no restroom facilities onboard the vessel.
