Conflict Island’s Conservation Initiative – Turtle Interaction Tour

Take a tour of the Turtle Nursery where you will meet and hand feed adorable baby turtle hatchlings. Your tour begins with a short walk from the Welcome Centre to the Turtle Nursery. Here you will be given the chance to interact with the baby turtle hatchlings and hand feed them a specialised hatchling turtle formula. Our Marine Biologist will provide informative commentary about the turtles and the important work done by the Conflict Island Conservation Initiative. You can also get involved in the conservation initiative yourself by adopting and naming your own turtle. Special Notes: To ensure your adventure is as enjoyable as possible please wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes, clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, bring a hat, bottled water and sunscreen that’s appropriate for use within a coral reef environment.
